Yes. QuickSILVA PlanTranz Hire offers both operators for both wet hire and dry hire. All our operators are fully certified and experienced across residential, commercial and infrastructure sites.

On a wet hire the hire will include fuel. Dry hire means you supply your own fuel on a hire. Wet hire is the most popular option for contractors who want a turnkey solution.

We recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance for our plant hire equipment. For larger excavators or peak periods, a week’s notice ensures availability. Emergency and shutdown work is available 24/7 — call us directly.

Working height depends on your specific application. Access platforms (boom lifts) typically offer working heights from 12 metres to 40+ metres. Scissor lifts provide stable elevated platforms typically from 6 metres to 15 metres. Contact our team with the working height you need and we will recommend the right machine.

Yes. Our electric access platforms and electric scissor lifts are designed for indoor use — they produce zero emissions and operate quietly. This makes them ideal for warehouse work, indoor maintenance and environments where diesel fumes are not permitted.

A cherry picker (boom lift) has an articulating or telescopic arm that provides reach in multiple directions — ideal for accessing difficult positions at height. A scissor lift raises a platform vertically only, providing a larger working area at height but limited horizontal reach. The right choice depends on whether you need reach (cherry picker) or platform space (scissor lift).
