Six Pink TLBs. Six Stories. One Powerful Cause.
At QuickSILVA PlanTranz Hire, we believe that business should be about more than machines, projects, and profits. It should be about people.
That’s why we decided to support breast cancer awareness in the most QuickSILVA way possible. We went PINK.
Not just with ribbons or posters, but by painting six of our iconic JCB TLBs pink and putting them to work across construction sites throughout the Western Cape.
These six machines are more than eye-catching additions to our fleet. Each one represents a member of the QuickSILVA family whose life has been touched by breast cancer. Together, they tell a story of courage, resilience, hope, loss, and survival.
More Than Pink Machines
When people see our Pink TLBs on a construction site, we want them to do more than notice the colour.
We want them to start conversations.
We want them to remember loved ones who have battled cancer.
We want them to recognise survivors who continue to inspire us every day.
And we want them to understand that awareness is not just something we talk about once a year. Awareness means showing up, speaking up, allocating human and financial resources, and helping drive meaningful change.
Remembering Those We Have Lost
While this initiative celebrates hope, it is also about remembrance.
Breast cancer has touched countless families across South Africa, including members of our own QuickSILVA family.
Through our Pink Fleet, we honour those who bravely fought the disease but sadly lost their battle. Their memory continues to inspire us, reminding us why awareness, education, and early detection remain so important.
They may no longer be with us, but they will never be forgotten.
Celebrating the Survivors
Construction and industrial sites are dynamic. Ground conditions shift, access changes, weather turns, and schedules compress. At the heart of this campaign are the survivors.
The mothers, daughters, sisters, wives, colleagues, and friends who faced one of life’s greatest challenges and refused to give up.
Their strength, determination, and courage inspire us every day.
Each Pink TLB is a moving tribute to their journey and a celebration of the hope that comes from early detection, quality healthcare, family support, and an unbreakable spirit.
Partnering with PinkDrive
To maximise the impact of this initiative, QuickSILVA proudly highlighted the work being done by PinkDrive, an organisation dedicated to raising awareness and improving access to cancer screening services throughout South Africa.
PinkDrive’s mission is simple but powerful: early detection saves lives.
Their work helps bring critical screening and education services to communities that often have limited access to healthcare, helping prevent more South Africans from succumbing to breast, cervical, prostate, and testicular cancers.
We are honoured to support their efforts and encourage other businesses across the construction, plant hire, mobile crane hire, transport, logistics, and industrial sectors to do the same.
A Challenge to Our Industry
Our Pink Fleet is only the beginning.
We challenge businesses throughout South Africa’s construction, plant hire, transport, crane hire, and logistics industries to use their platforms, resources, and influence to support causes that matter.
Together, we can create awareness.
Together, we can support early detection.
Together, we can help save lives.
Because making a difference is not about the size of the contribution. It’s about taking action.
Nothing’s Impossible When We Work Together
As our six Pink TLBs continue to operate on projects across the Western Cape, they serve as a constant reminder that every machine can carry a message, every company can make an impact, and every person can help create change.
Six machines.
Six stories.
One powerful cause.
At QuickSILVA, we’re proud to stand alongside survivors, honour those we have lost, support the work of PinkDrive, and help raise awareness for breast cancer and other gender-based cancers.
Because some causes are bigger than business.
And because Nothing’s Impossible when we work together.
