CRANE HIRE — QUICKSILVALIFT

MOBILE CRANE HIRE

All Terrain and Rough Terrain mobile cranes from 25T to 250T. Precision lifting for construction, industrial and infrastructure projects across the Western Cape and Northern Cape.

WHAT IS A MOBILE CRANE?

A mobile crane is a self-propelled crane capable of travelling to site under its own power and setting up for lifting operations without the need for a fixed foundation. QuickSILVALIFT operates both All Terrain and Rough Terrain mobile cranes, providing the flexibility to handle lifts on paved roads, construction sites and rough off-road environments.

Our fleet ranges from 25T to 250T, covering everything from standard construction lifts to major industrial and infrastructure projects requiring heavy lifting capacity.

FLEET SPECIFICATIONS

QuickSILVALIFT’s mobile crane fleet includes: 25T, 30T and 35T cranes for standard construction lifts, HVAC installation and steel erection; 40T and 50T cranes for mid-range commercial and industrial lifts; 65T and 100T cranes for heavy industrial lifts, bridge construction and infrastructure; and 150T, 200T and 250T cranes for major lifts including tower crane erection, heavy industrial plant installation and large-scale infrastructure projects.

All Terrain vs Rough Terrain

All Terrain cranes can travel on public roads at highway speeds and operate on construction sites — offering maximum flexibility. Rough Terrain cranes are designed specifically for off-road conditions with superior stability on uneven ground. QuickSILVALIFT operates both types and our team will recommend the right crane based on your site access and lift requirements.

YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Yes. QuickSILVA PlanTranz Hire offers an operator with both wet hire (machine plus fuel) and dry hire (machine only). All our operators are fully certified and experienced across residential, commercial and infrastructure sites.

On a wet hire the hire will include fuel. Dry hire means you supply your own fuel on a hire. Wet hire is the most popular option for contractors who want a turnkey solution.

We recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance for our plant hire equipment. For larger excavators or peak periods, a week’s notice ensures availability. Emergency and shutdown work is available 24/7 — call us directly.

Crane size depends on three factors: the weight of the load, the radius (distance from the crane to the load’s final position), and the height of the lift. A 25T crane at short radius can lift its full capacity, but the same crane at maximum radius lifts significantly less. Our team is more than happy to work with you to determine the right crane for your specific requirements.

All QuickSILVALIFT crane operators hold the relevant South African certifications for the crane class they operate. Our riggers are qualified and experienced across construction, industrial and infrastructure projects. We maintain full compliance with SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) legislation.

Yes. While QuickSILVALIFT is based in the Western Cape, our specialised heavy haulage transport service operates nationwide across South Africa. We have experience transporting oversized loads between all major provinces and to remote mining and infrastructure project sites.
